Search is changing. Google rankings still matter, but AI-powered search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) is becoming where developers and decision-makers find answers. You own both. You won't manage a team of humans — you'll manage a team of agents. Your direct reports are AI that writes, optimizes, and publishes at scale, while you set the strategy, define quality, and make the calls no model can make yet.

We're building a team of geniuses. Not a team of "smart people" — actual geniuses who ship. You've built things before — maybe a company, maybe projects that people actually use. You want to work unreasonably hard on something that matters. If you fall short of that standard, you're wrong here.

What you will do

  • Build and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy across Google and AI search engines. Own the roadmap, own the results.
  • Do deep keyword and intent research for the agent infrastructure space. Understand what CTOs, developers, and operators are actually searching for.
  • Build and orchestrate a fleet of AI agents that produce, optimize, and publish content at scale. You define the workflows, quality bar, and editorial direction — then let agents execute.
  • Monitor and adapt to how AI search surfaces (Perplexity, ChatGPT search, Google AI Overviews) source and rank content. Stay ahead of the shift.
  • Instrument everything. Set up tracking, measure what works, kill what doesn't.

What we are looking for

  • You've ranked pages #1 for competitive terms. Proven track record of driving organic growth — show us the numbers.
  • Deep technical SEO knowledge. You understand crawl budgets, structured data, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals at an engineering level. Ideally you can write code to build tooling and programmatic pages yourself.
  • You get AI search. You've thought seriously about how LLM-based search changes discoverability and have a point of view on how to win there.
  • You can write or direct content that's genuinely useful — not SEO slop. Developer audiences have zero tolerance for filler.
  • Self-directed and data-driven. You define your own priorities based on what the data says, not what a playbook prescribes.
